When will black people turn to atheism and rid themselves of religion?

Why do you let an imaginary being tell you how to you live your life, that is worse than slavery. Leave Christianity to the whites, Islam to the Arabs(those are the two main religions of blacks). Set your mind free.





Why are there so few black atheists, such as myself?|||I believe it has to do with impoverished state that many are in. It is enticing to look forward to a better afterlife when there is so much grief in the one that one currently lives in.|||Ahhhh, nothing like the smell of racism in the evening.





EDIT: Why is it when a person of another race says something racist it's racism, but when a person of the same race says something it's not? Are some whites not Atheist? Why reference slavery? Are some non-arabic people Islam?





Set YOUR mind free.|||I'm also a black atheist. Keep in mind that Christianity was a religion that we were force to have while being slaves. However, the fact that Christianity exist now has nothing to do with slavery and African Americans. There also were white slaves back then. There are many social and mental slavery that exist than just Christianity. We sometimes becomes slaves of ourselves.|||Most Muslims aren't Arabs FYI. And not all Arabs are Muslim.





White people didn't create Christianity and most Christians aren't even white. Although white people are the ones who spread it after it was brought to Europe from THE MIDDLE EAST!





But I agree about black people needing to leave religion because ALL people need to leave religion. Most AA's ancestors from Africa were Pagan when they came to America as slaves.|||This black chick will never turn to atheism. However, this has nothing to do with my intelligence level.
