How do I print in black and white on the lexmark x2600 printer?

I just added a black print cartridge #14 to my printer. I don't know what to do now so it will print in black and white instead of color? (printing with the color cartridge is eating ink quickly when all I need is black and white) Please help!|||When you want to print in black and white only, choose the preferences button next to your printer in print options and check the box "print in black %26amp; white only".
