How do I make a picture black and white with color in it?

If you look on myspace, you can see lots of pictures that are black and white. There are also pictures that are black and white with a shirt or their eyes in color instead of being in black and white. How in the world do you do that?|||Here is the easiest way I know how to do it.

In Photoshop:

1.Import your color image

2. Make a duplicate background layer

3. Turn the layer to black and white (or grayscale)

4. Use the eraser tool and erase the parts you want to be in color

That's it!|||1. Open photo (using photo editing software such as Photoshop)

2. Duplicate background layer

3. Desaturate top layer into B%26amp;W

4. Erase top layer (eraser tool) to show the lower layer

If you want to use different colors continue steps below -

5. Select background layer

6. Open up Hue / Saturation

7. Choose colorize

8. Play with sliders to produce the color you want.|||in photoshop use the polygonal lasso tool (there are other tools but that's my persaonal fav) to select the objects you want to remain colored. if there's more than one object hold shift to add to the selection. repeat until all desired parts are selected. then click select%26gt;select inverse. this selects everything but the objects you want to remain colored. next click image%26gt;adjustments%26gt;hue/saturation and drag the saturation slider all the way down to -100. and boom! you have your image.

btw these are mac instructions. pc keyboard shortcuts are slightly different.

hope this helps and good luck!|||as shown in gimp,

same with photoshop, create new copy of image, change to grayscale (and back to rgb) or desaturate / remove color, then from original color copy, select portion of image with lasso tool, copy and paste in new layer of b%26amp;w image, if image is already b%26amp;w, and you want coloured highlights , create new layer, select area to be coloured, and paint in colour, then use transparency or opacity bar to lower amount, as in photobie shown,

..|||Photoshop|||With the image in photoshop, go to IMAGE%26gt;ADJUSTMENTS%26gt;DESATURATE

Then create a new layer, take your paint brush and choose a color and paint whatever you would like to have its color back. Changing the blending mode in the layer palette will help blend the painted color onto picture and make more realistic. BE CAREFUL though with the edges! Just like as a kid with a coloring book - stay in the lines!!! HOPE THAT HELPED!|||You need to buy this special technology from like Wal*Mart at their photo center. THen give them the pic that u want to get fixed and then in a few minutes it should be done. That's how I remember it. It may not be the same for younger people becuz sometimes u can do it by computer.|||go to image and take the rgb off|||PhotoShop|||Did you try PhotoShop?

Can you paint over black urethane primer and make it shiny?

You know how primer goes on a car first then the real (good) paint goes on. Well if black urethane primer is called primer then can you put a gloss on it or what ever to make it a nice black.|||Since your painting it black already and not a light color it will be very nice and glossy. You will be very pleased with the darkness and glassy appearance.|||you would have to put on several clear coats for it to look good, but it will never look glossy...

What is an all black duck/goose with red eyes?

I live in Oregon, and I have seen this kind of duck twice now. It is small/medium sized, with a narrow bill (that comes to a pointed curve). One is all black with red eyes, the others I saw had white bills with black tips. Anyone know what kind of duck or goose this is? Thanks!!|||I think you are describing an American Coot.

http://sdakotabirds.com/species/photos/a鈥?/a>

There are others with red eyes - Grebes, Loons. There are a few ducks that have red eyes, but you described the bill as pointed and not really like a duck, whose bill is curved. So, I'd go with the Coot.

How do I get rid of black gunk in my drains?

In all my drains in my house, there is this black slime nastiness accumulating on the inside. Is it mildew? I scrub the black off the inside of the drain plugs with a toothbrush and it comes up. Two weeks later when I go to clean it again, more black has 'grown' in. It also forms on the drain holes in my shower. My house is only 4 years old. Unfortunately, I cannot remove my drain plugs from my sink, at least I don't know how.|||There is nothing you can do about the black slime. I forget what it is called (has a fancy scientific name) but it is basically a fairly safe bacterial slurry. It feeds off of some of the ingredients in soap and organic matter. If you ever open up a pump pit that pumps strictly laundry water there are usually massive amounts of the stuff. Hard to wash off skin too. May not have to embrace it but living with it you will have to do.|||I use Bam Bathroom Cleaner,it not only cleans tubs, sinks, and tolilets, but you can also pour it down the drains and it keeps them clean and unclogged.|||Use a bottle brush.

How is a black person being uppity for not acting like a stereotypical black?

this white guy said a black person is being uppity if they are not being a stereotypical black.

so let me get this straight if you are a stereotypical black you are hated. if you are not a stereotypical black you are considered uppity and are still hated.|||It is the same for any stereotyped group. If we don't fit their ignorant perception, then we are some other insult.

If a women is friendly, she's "easy." If a women won't engage in mindless chatter, then she is "stuckup."

This guy, definitely has issues and no need to waste time on him or respond.|||I have learned to accept these jerks for what they are. I just conduct and carry myself as to show what civil people are all about. It sounds cliche', but they really do show themselves as the ugliness they are. Ignorance and insecurity, speaks volumes. But, so does maturity and beauty-in all forms.

are you really taking that person seriously? i see it this way: the person meant it as a joke, or the person meant it seriously and is himself a joke. regardless, i know you've got a lot of **** on your plate just being black, but see the humor in this situation.|||You should probably ask him.

Better yet, don't. He is stating a stereotype of what he thinks that Black people think.|||and that is what we would call a racist......they are someone who will hate you no matter what you do, just because of your skin color.....

What is the proper way of washing a black shirt?

I have a lot of black shirts and pants. After a few washes, they turn gray, and I hate that.. Is there a proper way to wash a black shirt or any black clothing to keep them looking "black" longer?|||Woolite for darks and in cold water

What if Pacquiao was a black guy, would he be the favorite son among African Americans over Mayweather?

Pacquiao defied the odds by being a non-Hispanic, non-black fighter to be recognized universally as the best fighter in the world. However, there are many radical racially motivated people who criticize him for beating Hispanic fighters and avoiding black fighters. What would happen if Pacquiao fit in that majority category, given to the fact that the white people of boxing are Hispanics and blacks, while Asians and others are the minority.|||An analogy...

If you MUST vote but don't follow politics and you were white...you would probably vote for McCain...on the other side of the "ying-yang'"

If you were black , you would probably vote for Obama......

However, if you knew a lot about politics...then you would "weigh" the difference and choose the best candidate for the job at hand...

To answer your question...

If you chose 100 blacks that were not exactly loyal boxing fans...I think they would choose PBF...

But 100 blacks that are loyal boxing fans...I think they would pick Manny over PBF...

So I guess it depends on whether they are boxing fans or not....and not by their race.....|||I think I should point out Klitschko is also considered the best in the world and is also not hispanic or black.

|||For those who say that Pacquiao avoided black fighters, watch early in his career, when he was campaigning at the 122lbs. division. he fought south african fighter, Lehlohonolo Ledwaba, Dominican Republic, Agapito Sanchez and Colombian, Jorge Julio.

Those are three former world champions. They are not necessarily, exactly black american fighters but fights like them. It is unfortunate to some of those critics, that currently in the lower weight class the biggest names are hispanics and asians. And Pacquiao being the best fighter right now, of course, will choose the biggest names out there, that's how it works in boxing..

In fact, Manny is willingly open to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr., but floyd decided to fight JM Marquez instead, so it's not Manny's fault.

Regarding if Pacquiao was a black fighter, i think he will share the popularity, but slightly more popular than mayweather because of his boxing style, exciting and aggressive. That how it goes with some countries.

And here in Philippines, the most popular are Donaire and Pacquiao than Gorres and Penalosa because they are more exciting fighters.|||First of all, Pac never avoided black fighters. As he's always said, he'll fight whoever his promoter brings on the table, and that's what he's been doing all along. Manny is basically a very nice fellow. He's not one to call out names and talk trash. For him, boxing is purely a job that gives him livelihood and the opportunity to bring honor to his country, the Philippines. As long as the "price is right", as he'd usually say, he'll get in the ring with anyone - Hispanic, Black or Asian.

Now, to answer your question, I think Pacquiao transcends race or skin color. Just like Ali, he's at home wherever he fights because he knows there will be people rooting for him. If he fights Floyd Jr., most Americans, whether black or white, will support their own, that is, Mayweather. But there are some Americans out there who'll root for Manny too due to his great skill and his humility. It is a known fact now that Pac has developed friendships with some known American athletes, actors and even politicians. The guy is just awesome.|||I think he wouldn't be as popular if he was Black. There have been so many great black fighters and champions already. He would just be another of them. But the fact that he is Filipino makes him so much more popular. There's simply never been one. He has a whole nation behind him. If he was Black, would Africa be behind him the way the Philippines are behind Pacquiao? I don't think so.|||IN GENERAL, most AAs act *********. This is not racial, nor is it meant to generalise all AAs. It is just the statistical truth

edit: wow they blocked the word n!ggardly, that is a perfectly legitimate word in english vernacular

edit: hey AMERICASFAVORITETHUG, my name is vinny bag of donuts, not bag of dirtynuts. You disrespectful unmannered fool. Your mother didn't raise you properly

Respond to me buddy, i'm waiting to read your clever jocky taunts|||I DONT GIVE A $HIT WHAT PEOLPLE THINK ABOUT PACQUAIO.. THE TRUTH IS HE IS THE POUND FOR POUND CHAMP!!!

WHAT IF? WHEN IS? LETS PRETEND.. SHUT THE FUKC UP! .. NO NO NO NO... HE IS FILIPINO AND THE MOST EXCITING FIGHTER SINCE TYSON LEFT.. AND HE IS FILIPINO FROM THE PHILIPPINES.. ACCEPT IT.. HE WILL KNOCK OUT MAYMONKEY IN 5 ROUNDS...|||You better believe they would love the lil guy. However, many blacks prefer the welterweight and heavyweight division champions better.|||Every race is proud of their heroes that are of the same race.|||If he was better than Mayweather, then yes.|||Sure if you say so.....|||yes he would be..|||i think he would|||who cares man stfu|||If you could eliminate race and look at both as fighters and individuals, you will see that Manny's accomplishments FAR outweigh Floyd's. Both have earned Millions.

The big difference is that Manny COULD be brash but chooses NOT to be. His money would take him MUCH further back home than Floyd's would take him here. The Philippines is a beautiful place and Manny could live ANYWHERE, yet he chooses to live among his people in his community.

As a fight fan, I can give Floyd credit ONLY for his talent and some for his accomplishments. I feel he has avoided the best in his division and claims greatness with no base. My opinion will change if he actually fights some of the best, regardless to whether or not he beats them.

By contrast, Manny gives MORE reasons to admire him. He has done a Tremendous service to his country and his people. There are many foreign fighters who come to the US and forget home. Manny as accomplished more than nearly all of them, yet he never forgot home.

I have been to the Philippines a few times and I was there after the second Morales fight. I have seen what Manny does for people back home. Floyd couldn't do that for Blacks because there are so many other Blacks who have accomplished more. Plus, he has already proven that he's in the sport for money only.

It's not a bad thing because, siyempre, he should not fight for free. However, it's hard to be proud of such a self-centered person. Personally, I like Shane Mosley better.

I give Floyd credit for his talent. I give Manny credit for his talent and a LOT more.

I've been a big fan of Manny since BEFORE the first Morales fight. I became a bigger fan during the second fight when I heard the interviews of each fighter.

Morales was the more accomplished and well known fighter. He said "I fight for me".

Manny was asked the same question. His response, "I fight for my country". THAT is when I knew he would win. How can you NOT be proud?
